And yet another blog about money. But, this one's big. What could you do with $50,000?
For most of our members, that's about the average yearly salary. So, I think I would probably hear that people would go on vacation, put a new addition on the house, buy the boat they've been eyeing...
Some people would pay off all their debts so they're out of the way. These are the things to think about when you have that kind of money. Either get the things you know you would never be able to buy or pay off some things that are putting you further and further in the hole month after month.
$50,000 can go a long way. To answer my own question, I would take a trip, get a new laptop and pay off my college loans. It's a well thought out answer.
I would take a long overdue vacation. Then, I would put good money into a new laptop so that I could have a top of the line piece of machinery to keep me in business. Then, the college loans that hound me month after month would be gone.
That way, I can set myself up for other things that I would like to enjoy rather than an education I got a long time ago. Makes sense right?
