Let's Move On To Step 4 of the Money Making Strategy
Step 4: Publish Your Website
By now, you should have your domain. You have done your homework and today is the day you actually put your business out there for the world to see. But, I can't teach you everything. In this step is where you have to do the learning on your own.
All I have to say is SeaMonkey Project. It's a project of Mozilla and the Mozilla community. SeaMonkey is software that has a browser, an address book, an email, a chat and a composer. The composer is what's going to get you there.
Play around with the free software and you'll be able to design yourself a website. It has click and drop abilities. You can actually work with the html source. You can do anything the big guys do. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you'll just have to download SeaMonkey and see for yourself. It's just like anything else, the more you play the better you get. Remember, you want to design your website with the Composer. With SeaMonkey up and running, it's the 3rd button in on the bottom Left hand side.
Another thing I have to say is FileZilla. It's a file transfer software that allows you to publish your site. SeaMonkey will publish your site too, but I have found FileZilla to be much more efficient. It saves site information for you in a Site Manager. Upload takes about a second and it's a free software too.
So, today you should have your site designed with a banner across the top that you made for yourself in Paint. You can learn how to put a navigation bar down the side. Put your items and item descriptions in the center of the page. And put your website name with Copyright - All Rights Reserved at the bottom. If you put your address and phone number down there too, you become more legitimate. Remember, you are a legitimate business person and you won't get a million phone calls. People who go on your site will be happy just to know that they can get in touch with you if they have to do that.
Tomorrow we learn how to market your site and then you are rolling in the dough. So, get the site up and jumping. You want to be ready for tomorrow.
While you're at it, sign up for another merchant affiliate program Axill. It's just as legitimate as Netshops Affiliates.
