The final step in Making Money Online Step 5: Promote Before you think this is actually the last step, I have to tell you that you have so much more to learn. But, this is enough to get you started and it's enough to make money. You have to get better at everything you do. You have to improve your site. You have to choose better products. Make sure you choose high conversion products. It makes your job so much easier when the products can practically sell themselves. But, you need to promote. This is where you have to be observant of everything that's going on around you. If you are being advertised to, decide if it's effective. If it is, find out what makes it effective. Then, model it. But, here's where you can go to get started. Social networking sites have profiles. Never hesitate to mention your business and the URL. Most of the traffic on social networking sites is self-motivated. They look for you. So, make sure it's worth it when you have millions of people crawling social networking sites every day. Write articles and publish them on EzineArticles, AssociatedContent and Scribd. There are others, but these are the most active and they allow you to syndicate your articles. That means if 1,000 people read your article on the site and then 15 syndicate it, you have no idea how many people are actually reading your article. One newsletter might have 100,000 readers. Your article appears with a byline, so that's where you need your URL. Create a Squidoo Lens and put up your own blog. RSS feed your blog into your Squidoo Lens and you'll have updated, active information every time you post a new blog entry. Download the wordpress software from wordpress.org and follow the directions. It's the best blog software on the net and you can upload the software so that your blog is right on your site. Say you have a site that is http://sportsequipment.com. You can have a blog at http://sportsequipment.com/blog or some other variation that's all up to you. Ok, those are the things to get started on now. Every one of those steps are free. So, that's free traffic and a huge profit margin. The Next Step in the Money Making Strategy

Let's Move On To Step 4 of the Money Making Strategy Step 4: Publish Your Website By now, you should have your domain. You have done your homework and today is the day you actually put your business out there for the world to see. But, I can't teach you everything. In this step is where you have to do the learning on your own. All I have to say is SeaMonkey Project. It's a project of Mozilla and the Mozilla community. SeaMonkey is software that has a browser, an address book, an email, a chat and a composer. The composer is what's going to get you there. Play around with the free software and you'll be able to design yourself a website. It has click and drop abilities. You can actually work with the html source. You can do anything the big guys do. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you'll just have to download SeaMonkey and see for yourself. It's just like anything else, the more you play the better you get. Remember, you want to design your website with the Composer. With SeaMonkey up and running, it's the 3rd button in on the bottom Left hand side. Another thing I have to say is FileZilla. It's a file transfer software that allows you to publish your site. SeaMonkey will publish your site too, but I have found FileZilla to be much more efficient. It saves site information for you in a Site Manager. Upload takes about a second and it's a free software too. So, today you should have your site designed with a banner across the top that you made for yourself in Paint. You can learn how to put a navigation bar down the side. Put your items and item descriptions in the center of the page. And put your website name with Copyright - All Rights Reserved at the bottom. If you put your address and phone number down there too, you become more legitimate. Remember, you are a legitimate business person and you won't get a million phone calls. People who go on your site will be happy just to know that they can get in touch with you if they have to do that. Tomorrow we learn how to market your site and then you are rolling in the dough. Next Step in Making Money Online

Step Two to Making Money Online By now, you should have applied for your affiliate membership at Netshops Affiliate. That was the first step we talked about on Wednesday. If you haven't, then do it while you're doing this step. Visit Netshops Affiliate and look around. This is step two. As part of your game plan, you want to have a theme! Netshops Affiliate has so many products to choose from that you need to get some kind of theme in your head. You are so close to having your own business, so get a theme together. What do I mean by that? Well, let's start with a vague idea and then narrow it down. The car salesperson. The shoe salesperson. You are not this person. You will learn how to drive traffic and generate sales without having to know anything about selling. Impressive Additional Income Possibilities...Could Turn Into Duplicate or even Sole Income!

Axill - Making Money Without "Selling" ... How You Ask? Before you start saying you can't sell, consider the ways on the internet that you don't have to sell. Allow me to give you some ideas of how to make money online promoting merchant products...without "Selling." Yes, that's right! You don't have to know how to sell to make money online. Even if your bottom line is to sell products for other merchants, there are ways to get out of selling. First of all, let's define selling. Selling is calling people and trying to pitch them your product. Selling is going door to door or person to person to try to sell people on a product. Two years ago, I wrote a short, 7 or 8 page DIY manual about in ground swimming pools. But, it was basically rather simple. Before I published the DIY at Associated Content, I visited several online swimming supplies merchants and found a good one to market. They had an affiliate program, which means I earn money for every item I "sell" for them. That means liners, filters and other items. Once my affiliate status was approved and I received my affiliate identification, I published the DIY with all of my links in it. I wrote several articles and published them on Ezinearticles.com as well as Associatedcontent.com. I published a few reports in Scribd and I created a Squidoo lens. I also published my own web page with all the items listed with pictures, descriptions and pricing. The whole nine yards. People read the manual and click on my links. They read the articles, the reports or visit my lens and click on the links. When they buy the items I mention, I get paid. I made $10,000 that summer. That was two years ago and I'm still making money from work I did back then. Every Spring, my manual jumps in readers. Then, the buying begins all over again. I've completed several things just like that and I enjoy a nice little living...without "Selling." Yes, technically I'm selling several items for a merchant. But, I don't make phone calls. I don't go door to door. I don't talk to anyone about the items. I simply write a DIY and mention the items that will be needed. I get affiliated with a merchant who sells those items and I direct people to that site. I use as many resources as I can to get the information out there and I sit back. The system is put into place and now it's time to reap the benefits of my labor. That's just one way. If you don't know how to write, you should learn. But, you don't have to be a writer to make money online. There are other ways of doing it without "Selling." But, selling either your own products or someone else's is the best way.
