The Creative Commons (CC) is a non-profit organization devoted to expanding the range of creative works available for others to build upon legally and to share. The organization has released several copyright licenses known as Creative Commons licenses. These licenses, depending on the one chosen, restrict only certain rights (or none) of the work instead of traditional copyright, which is more restrictive.
Most of the time, you simply have to mention the name of the artist. Creative commons licensing is on many things including documents and photos. Artists share their works so they can build on a piece and "Create Commonly."
There are some crazy things going on in this world. Barry Bonds might play baseball for absolutely nothing. He just wants a team to pick him up and he'll give his paycheck to charity.
A guy is giving money away to anyone who wants it. You have to do a song and dance, but you can ask for any amount for any reason. Now, that's crazy.
Creative Common License is not crazy. Plenty of artists love to see what happens to the work they started. Collaboration, sharing...that's what the internet is all about. Throw great summer parties and entertain at the Tiki Bar!
Tiki parties are easy to throw together. The one in the video goes all out. But, you can throw one together a little easier than that.
First of all, you have to get some Tiki Torches. They really set the mood. There is nothing better than having all of your guests walk into your backyard and see your Tiki Torches.
Put some Lais around everyone's neck and get in the mood for a good party. Have all the guys wear a flowered shirt and have all the women bring a grass skirt. If people don't come in the mood, have the stuff ready so they have no more excuses yet.
"Hello, this is a Tiki party. I'm not sure you got the memo, but here's your shirt. Put it on!"
The next thing you need for a great outdoor party is a beautiful Grill! That's what really makes the difference between a simple party and a barbecue. You have the grill fired up and ready to go. The cook is on it with hamburgers, hotdogs, steaks and potatoes. It make all the difference in the world.
Then, seat everyone around your Tiki Bar. You'll love it all summer long. People will be looking for you one day and the one who knows you the best will simply say, "Outside on the Tiki bar." Slap them if they do a stupid hand gesture and stick their tongue out. That's so 80's.

Oh no, not the ones who hack into your computer and steal your identity. But, the ones who know how to hack into your computer and figure out how to keep the others out of it.
Do you know they exist?
That's right! There are good hackers out there who use their skills for a good cause.
I can't be sure. But, I think Bill Gates might have come up with that idea. I think he was the first one to hire hackers to hack his company profile. He hired them to hack into Windows and Microsoft. That's why there are so many security patches.
Hackers can get your identity in a heartbeat and leave you holding the bill. But, a good company has hackers too. They work to keep you safe!
I mean, even Jessica Simpson is willing to show off her acne on national television. So, it's not as if the women in your life don't know they could probably use some skin perfection cream that will do wonders on their skin. You just have to be "smooth" about it.
Women know how to present Skin Perfection to each other. You should watch how they do it.
"Hey, I bought this for you the other day. I got myself one too. It's great. My skin feels so smooth and acne free."
But, a guy can't get away with that. Once you try that, this is what you'll get:
"So, what are you trying to say? That my face has acne. That you're not happy with me. That I'm fat and you want me to be perfect...Do you know what I go through for you?..." And on and on...
But, you could try to give her the skin treatment this way:
"Hey, I found this skin cream and it's supposed to keep your face perfect. I thought you would appreciate it because I see you and your friends trading stuff like this all the time..."
It's worth a shot! And if it works, come back and tell the rest of us if it worked or not. If it doesn't work, take pictures of her throwing pots and pans at you. I'd love to post them on the board.
I was watching the new show on VH1 put on by the Seduction Community with Mystery and others. It appears that Mystery is the leading man in the Seduction Community. Him and Neil Strauss seem to share the spotlight.
The Seduction Community is a community of pick up artists and that is the name of the show. Mystery taught his students the different techniques of getting a girl interested and "closing" the scenario. "Closing" is misunderstood.
It's not necessarily about getting a girl to come home with you and spend the night. It's more like getting her phone number or getting a kiss from her. Of course, it can go as far as it wants to go. But, closing is getting her interested and getting the date, or getting her to come to the party or what have you.
I defended the Seduction Community in an article I wrote one time because I didn't see it as a dishonest community of people who take advantage of women. Women make up their own minds in the situation. But, the Seduction Community is full of people who had no self esteem and was always getting rejected.
Now, they study and they practice being charming, alluring, attractive and worthy of everyone's attention. I don't think that's a wrong thing. Dating is hard enough.
For every woman in a room, there are a handful of men competing for her attention. There are several ways to look at this, but it's basic logic. A woman gets hit on her entire life. She's told from an early age that she's beautiful by her family and friends and it's jut a part of life to get a line from someone at a party or at the club.
On the other hand, a guy doesn't get that much attention. Not us average guys anyway. We have to learn how to stand out or we just don't get the girl...ever.
So while women are becoming masters of the dating game all their lives, men go through life getting nervous and being afraid of rejection. I'm not saying it's like that all the time in every situation. Some women aren't good at dating and some men are natural. I'm just talking about the common way it is.
When a guy walks up to a girl, there is very little he can say that is unique. She's probably heard it all before. So, he has to do a great deal with body language. That's why I feel the way I do about the Seduction Community.
When CSI: Miami made a point to do one of their shows highlighting the Seduction Community, I thought it went overboard a little. There are some men who don't get it and take advantage of a situation, that's true. But, that's not what it's about.
It's about helping more men be able to be comfortable with themselves in the company of beautiful women and to actually attract a few. That's it.
That's like the online dating game. Especially when you can find out who likes you first before you return your attention to them. Flirting with your crush is the safest bet. I mean, she already likes you. Can't get much safer than that!
My computer started taking over all of my fax capabilities. But, that was back in the day when my laptop was connected to the phone line. So, I got rid of my old fax machine.
It worked for a few years. That was until I was offered the cable pipeline. I purchased internet through cable and forgot about the rest of it.
Faxing had almost become obsolete to me. But, there were still plenty of uses for it. I never thought about the fact that I no longer had fax services.
That was until one day I was given about three hours to fax a very important document by a very important contact of mine. It was a huge opportunity I didn't want to pass. So, I called around to fax services.
Then, just before getting ready to leave the house I thought of something. The internet has to have something that can help me. I found Myfax.
